Stadium Perimeter LED / Touchline Broadcast Ribbon

GM Series Own the Touchline.

A purpose-built stadium perimeter LED platform for sponsor visibility, camera-facing sports production and match-day venue operation. GM6.67 and GM10 share one 1600 × 900 mm cabinet architecture while serving different viewing and camera-distance requirements.

Three Signals / One Touchline

A stadium perimeter screen has to satisfy sponsors, cameras and venue operations at the same time.

GM Series should be commissioned as a match-day system, not only as an advertising display. Brightness, refresh performance, cabinet alignment and operational access are interconnected along the same pitch-side line.

01 / SPONSOR6000–7000 cd/m²

Daylight Visibility

Brightness headroom supports outdoor sponsor media, then operating output is tuned for field orientation, ambient light and venue limits.

Broadcast Capture

High refresh provides camera headroom, while scan mode, shutter, processor settings, grayscale and calibration complete the broadcast workflow.

Match-Day Operation

Emergency routing, player-side protection, cabinet alignment, service access and safe operating responsibility must be resolved with the venue.

Broadcast Sightline

Select pitch and brightness from the camera geometry—not from a catalog table alone.

GM6.67 is the finer option for closer cameras or more detailed sponsor artwork, while GM10 reduces pixel density for longer viewing distances. Final selection should be based on the real venue and camera positions because the supplied reference data does not publish one fixed minimum viewing distance.

MODEL AGM6.67

Finer sponsor graphics or closer camera / spectator positions.

MODEL BGM10

Longer viewing conditions and lower total pixel density.

COMMISSIONINGTest the Chain

Processor output, scan mode, shutter speed, frame rate and calibration must be verified together.

Safety Gate

The advertising line must know how to open when the venue needs a route through it.

The supplied GM structure image shows selected cabinets being removed or repositioned to create a passage through the perimeter display. That capability only becomes useful when opening width, release sequence and operating responsibility are defined in the stadium safety plan.

EMERGENCY ACCESS / PERIMETER GATE REFERENCE
01

Define Opening

Agree the required passage width and exact cabinet segment with the venue team.

02

Define Release

Document who may open the line and how cabinets are moved or removed safely.

03

Protect Players

Coordinate player-side protection and exposed hardware conditions with the project safety plan.

04

Restore the Ribbon

Re-align, reconnect and verify the screen after the access route is closed.

Repeat Unit

One 1600 × 900 mm cabinet becomes the repeating unit of the stadium ribbon.

GM6.67 and GM10 share the same cabinet envelope and module size, allowing the project team to standardize structure, handling and screen segmentation while pixel pitch changes the module resolution.

Shared hardware language. Different pixel density.

Use the final engineering drawing to freeze cabinet count, screen segmentation, module map, receiving-card topology and service-access plan.

Stadium Programs

Three roles for one continuous media line.

GM Series is best suited to outdoor sports environments where pitch-side sponsor visibility, live-broadcast capture and modular screen lengths have to work together across match-day operations.

01 / FOOTBALL

Touchline Sponsorship

Continuous sponsor graphics and match-day messaging positioned along the football field perimeter.

02 / MULTI-SPORT

Outdoor Sports Advertising

Modular perimeter lengths for rugby, athletics and multi-use outdoor venues requiring strong daylight output.

03 / BROADCAST

Camera Priority Zones

Sections frequently seen in live feeds and replays, where calibration and camera testing shape sponsor-image consistency.

Live Match Reference

Review the ribbon in motion—not only as a still image.

The supplied project footage is useful for reviewing screen continuity, sponsor readability, low-angle visibility and camera-facing behavior in a real sports environment.

Four records to freeze before the stadium ribbon goes live.

A perimeter project should leave engineering with more than cabinet quantities. The venue, broadcast and operations teams need one coordinated release package.

Stadium LED Buyer FAQ

Questions Buyers Need Answered Before Model Selection and Pricing

Six practical questions covering pixel pitch, daylight brightness, broadcast refresh, emergency access, cabinet architecture and quotation inputs.

01Should a football stadium choose GM6.67 or GM10?

Choose GM6.67 when finer sponsor graphics, closer cameras or closer spectators are important. Choose GM10 when viewing distances are longer and lower pixel density is acceptable. The supplied reference data does not publish a fixed minimum viewing distance, so selection should follow venue geometry and camera positions.

02Is 6000–7000 cd/m² bright enough for an outdoor stadium perimeter LED display?

Yes, this is the published outdoor pitch-side range for both models. Final operating brightness should be commissioned for field orientation, ambient light, local operating limits and camera exposure rather than simply running at maximum output.

03Why does GM Series use a refresh rate of at least 7680 Hz?

It provides headroom for television cameras, replay systems and mobile capture. Final on-camera performance also depends on scan mode, grayscale processing, shutter speed, frame rate, processor settings and calibration.

04How should emergency access and player-side safety be planned around a perimeter LED screen?

The supplied GM material shows selected cabinets being removed or repositioned to create an access route. Opening width, release procedure, signage, operating responsibility and player-protection requirements should be agreed with the venue operator and project safety team before match-day use.

05What are the GM Series cabinet dimensions, weight and module format?

Both models use a 1600 × 900 × 80.5 mm cabinet weighing 47.87 kg and a 400 × 300 mm module. GM6.67 uses 240 × 135 pixels per module and GM10 uses 160 × 90 pixels per module. Final cabinet mapping and receiving-card layout should be confirmed in the engineering drawing.

06What information is needed for a GM Series stadium LED quotation?

Provide active screen dimensions, spectator and camera distances, structure, service access, power standard, control-room location, emergency access, player protection, spare-parts scope, destination and commissioning schedule. GM6.67 is listed at 900 / 300 W/m² max / average and GM10 at 1000 / 330 W/m².
