Uniview LED supplied a 386 m² TST 6.9 rental LED display for a beauty pageant in Thailand. The large-format stage system supported live performances, ceremony content, event branding and camera-facing production across the show.
Beauty pageants combine several production requirements in one show: contestant entrances, stage performances, ceremony graphics, sponsor branding, camera shooting and large-audience viewing.
The LED system therefore needed to operate as more than a static background. It became part of the stage design and the visual production workflow.
Uniview LED TST 6.9 was configured across 386 m² of LED area for the Thailand project, creating a large-format stage surface suited to medium- and long-distance audience viewing.
Rental LED systems are not judged only by the image produced during the show. The cabinet architecture also has to work through transport, installation, camera testing, live operation and pack-out.
Cabinets, rigging hardware, power and signal equipment enter the venue and are organized for the stage build.
The 1000 × 1000 mm cabinet becomes the repeatable building block for large-format touring and stage screens.
Processor settings, operating brightness and camera shutter workflow should be tested together before the audience enters.
The LED wall supports ceremony graphics, contestant content, stage performances, sponsor visuals and live production.
After the show, the screen is dismantled and prepared for transport and repeated rental use.
The project required a platform built for large outdoor or semi-outdoor event production, rather than a conventional indoor fixed display.
Higher-output brightness supports stage environments exposed to stronger ambient light.
High refresh provides a stronger starting point for camera-facing production when the complete camera and processor chain is commissioned.
The large cabinet footprint reduces the number of primary cabinet units needed in a large stage wall.
TST 6.9 uses a front-maintenance architecture for access during touring and rental operation.
A beauty pageant is frequently captured by multiple cameras, which means the LED wall must be evaluated not only by what the audience sees directly but also by how it behaves through the production cameras.
TST 6.9 is specified at 7680 Hz refresh rate and 16-bit grayscale. Those specifications provide useful headroom for camera-facing stage use.
They do not eliminate the need for commissioning. Camera shutter, frame rate, processor configuration, scan behavior and LED operating brightness should still be tested together before the live show.
Review TST Technical Details →Project facts are taken from the Thailand case record. Product specifications below are consistent with the current TST 6.9 product reference.
The stage screen supported several visual roles instead of one fixed background function.
Large-format graphics formed the main visual environment behind contestants and presenters.
Motion graphics and show content supported music, entrances and live stage performances.
Sponsor and event identity could occupy the same large visual canvas at different show moments.
The LED wall formed a major part of camera compositions during live production and recording.
Large-stage projects also depend on handling, weather planning and service strategy around the LED cabinets.
The final screen dimensions, hanging or stacking method and venue conditions must be reflected in project-specific structural engineering.
Outdoor event planning should also consider drainage, exposed connections, wind engineering and shutdown criteria.
TST 6.9 front maintenance helps service planning, but the production layout still needs practical access for technicians and spare components.
Cabinet quantity should be the result of the production brief, not the starting point.

Practical questions for pageants, concerts, festivals and touring productions.
The project used Uniview LED TST 6.9 with a 6.944 mm pixel pitch across approximately 386 m² of LED display area.
The current TST 6.9 specification lists 5500 cd/m² brightness, making it suitable for higher-ambient-light stage environments when the overall event design is appropriate.
A 7680 Hz refresh rate provides useful headroom for camera-facing production, but flicker performance still depends on camera shutter, frame rate, scan behavior, processor settings and LED operating brightness.
A wider pixel pitch can be appropriate when the LED wall is very large and the majority of the audience views it from medium or long distances. Final pitch selection should always follow the actual audience geometry.
The current TST 6.9 product reference lists IP65 front and IP54 rear protection. Outdoor event deployment still requires project-specific weather, wind, drainage, electrical and structural planning.
